Domestic abusers from UP sentenced to prison
MARQUETTE — Six defendants have been sentenced to prison in the past six months for domestic-violence related offenses after being charged by the Northern Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan, U.S. Attorney Mark Totten said.

“The harsh reality is that millions of Americans live in fear of domestic violence every day,” Totten said. “My office stands with victims and will continue to do everything we can to protect them and work with law enforcement partners to hold their abusers accountable.”
