NORWAY — Celebrate the start of the holiday season on Dec. 6 at Christmas in Norway.

The city’s annual downtown event will feature all the traditional favorites, along with some new highlights.

“In addition to ornament-making, the Santa parade, fireworks and a chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, we are excited to announce some new activities,” Downtown Norway event coordinator Gina Zanon said. “A winter market at the American Legion, s’mores making in Veterans Park, and tree and wreaths will be available for sale from Viking Square.”

Downtown businesses will also stay open late to accommodate shoppers.

The winter market welcomes some of the vendors from the Open Air Market.
