Garth Brooks tribute starring Adam Lee to perform for Braumart Benefit Gala

Adam Lee WILL perform in a Garth Brooks tribute Thursday, Sept. 19, at The Braumart in Iron Mountain as part of the benefit gala.
IRON MOUNTAIN — “The Garth Experience” is coming to the historic Braumart in downtown Iron Mountain on Thursday, Sept. 19, for its annual Braumart Benefit Gala.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert to start at 7 p.m.
Adam Lee and Company have sold-out concerts around the Midwest all summer with his “Icons — The Songs and Stories of Garth Brooks.”
The show is designed to capture the full essence of Brooks — the energy, the storytelling and, of course, “the music.” From the stomp your boots/singalong songs to the most soul-touching ballads, the group makes sure the crowd has as much fun as they do, playing so many of those No. 1 hits.
The show is very flexible and offered as a storyteller, “Adam on a stool,” a light band or full/rocking seven-piece band with big production.
“Anyone that knows me, knows how big of an inspiration Garth Brooks was to me as a musician. In fact, without Garth, I probably wouldn’t have learned to play guitar or sing. And, like many others, I very likely would not even be a country music fan today,” Lee said.
“So now, 25 years after Garth inspired me to buy my first guitar, I decided it was time to pay tribute to this country music legend in this really fun and unique way,” he said.
Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two tickets to the Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers game set for Sunday, Nov. 24. They will also have basket raffles and a 50-50 drawing.
Tickets are $25 and available online at www.thebraumart.org. They can also be purchased for $30 at the door if not sold out.
The event is sponsored by Results Broadcasting-Frog 101.5, M.J. Electric, and Erickson Jewelers.
“This concert will knock your socks off,” Braumart Director Jinx Brew said. “We are so excited to bring you another excellent night of music at The Braumart. This is one you won’t want to miss. Thanks to our community sponsors — we couldn’t do this concert without you.”
