Sheriff issues monthly report
IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for July.
The road patrol served 218 civil process papers, investigated 173 complaints, handled 17 accidents, issued 20 citations and 133 verbal warnings, made 29 arrests — 10 of which were for outstanding warrants — and completed 94 property checks.
The K-9 officer was involved in five searches — three conducted through the sheriff’s office and two for other agencies.
The correctional center had 72 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.3 and an average daily population of 44.6.
The dispatch center handled 735 911 calls, 5,008 non-911 calls, 1,955 calls for law enforcement service, 545 calls for ambulance service, and 59 calls for fire service.
Ten individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 168 hours at the sheriff’s office/courthouse, Holy Spirit School, Feeding America, Gus Macker setup and takedown, Salvation Army, Quinnesec soccer field and trash pickup in the Norway area.
