Police find pickup truck used in IR bank robbery
IRON RIVER — A pickup truck that was used in a bank robbery Monday morning has been located and is being processed by Michigan State Police, the Iron River Police Department said in a news release Thursday.
Police said the silver Chevrolet Silverado was located Tuesday. No other details were provided on how or where it was found.
Local agencies along with the FBI are investigating the robbery of Flagstar Bank in which a suspect wearing a yellow and black coat, black hoodie, sunglasses and scarf took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing out the north door to the parking lot and driving away in the pickup truck.
The robbery occurred at about 9:24 a.m. and the suspect was carrying a black bag with a red stripe.
