Mariucci’s son to sing anthem at GB Packers game Sunday

STEPHEN RAY MARIUCCI

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Nashville-based country artist Stephen Ray (Mariucci), son of Iron Mountain native and former NFL coach Steve Mariucci, will sing the national anthem Sunday at Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers-Minnesota Vikings game.

Steve Mariucci was an assistant coach for the Packers from 1992 to 1995 and later head coach for the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions.

“Green Bay has always held a very special place in my heart since growing up just a couple miles from Lambeau and going to games as a kid to now visiting as an adult with friends and family over the years,” said the younger Mariucci, who has opened for country stars such as Toby Keith, Parmalee and Cody Johnson.

CBS will carry the game, with kickoff at 3:25 p.m.

Stephen Ray will also release a new single, “Silver Lining,” on Sunday.

Starting at $2.99/week.
