New board seated for Dickinson Chamber

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen five new board members and retained one for another term.

They are —

— Elrico Hurley, ELH Document Services: Hurley owns a mobile notary and national signing service business. He has experience with leadership and youth organizations. He has an interest in developing the economic condition of the county, especially work-from-home and independent contractors. His past experience as district vice chair with the Boy Scouts of America has taught him program and strategic leadership skills. Hurley was also recently elected president of the Chamber Ambassador group.

— Anthony Miller, Hope Church of Iron Mountain: Miller is a faith leader for Hope Church in Iron Mountain. He has a decade of experience in technology and is passionate about bottom-line successes, growth and development. Miller has experience on the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority board. He has many professional development certifications.

— Joy Waldbillig, Emplify Health by Bellin: Waldbillig is passionate about supporting the community where she has lived and worked most of her life. She is personable, approachable and loves to network. As a clinic team leader, she is responsible for the operations of a multi-specialty clinic and has 20 years of experience in health care, including eight years in management, overseeing provider credentialing and payer enrollment, along with two-plus years in operations management.

— Scott Schmeltzer, Gray Digital Media/TV6: Schmeltzer has been on chamber boards in the past as well as economic development boards and panels. He brings a wealth of digital knowledge, recruitment and media marketing to the chamber.

— Paula Swartout, Coldwell Bankers Real Estate Group: Swartout is a real estate agent at Coldwell Bankers Real Estate Group as well as a clinical recruiter with UP Health System in Marquette. Her experience includes with human resources, accounting and benefits administration. Her current role as People Services Leader qualifies her for recruiting new members. Swartout also excels in understanding financials and writing and interpreting policy procedures, and has 26-plus years of health care industry experience.

— Carmen Frank, Upper Peninsula Michigan Works!: Frank is a business services specialist with UP Michigan Works!, dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with businesses across all industries and sizes. With a strong focus on economic growth, Frank aims to strengthen coalitions in Dickinson County by collaborating with governmental entities, educational institutions and community organizations.
