Stephens Real Estate expands IM sales team
IRON MOUNTAIN — Chelsea Thoreson of Vulcan and Melinda Blazier of Niagara, Wis., have joined Stephens Real Estate’s Iron Mountain office as full-time realtors.
Thoreson studied pre-med at Northern Michigan University and earned her real estate licenses for both Michigan and Wisconsin from Holloway Institute and Wisconsin Association of Realtors. She brings a strong background in customer service to her new role.
“I love how multi-faceted real estate is,” Thoreson said. “You are always learning something new and striving to meet the challenges.”
She added that real estate ties well with her passion for interior design and construction design elements. Thoreson and her husband, Cole, have three sons and she often volunteers at their school events.
Blazier has also been honing her customer service skills for more than six years — including as a server and in the banking industry — and has real estate licenses in both Michigan and Wisconsin.
Blazier said she has always had an interest in real estate. “I love being able to help people find their forever home and assist with the process of their biggest investment,” she said.
She also enjoys being involved in Special Olympics, children’s events and local park projects.
Ryan Gordon, Stephens Real Estate owner/broker of, noted both Thoreson and Blazier are a natural fit to Stephens’ company culture. “All of the training they are participating in at the office will greatly benefit their future clients,” he added.
Thoreson can be contacted at 906-202-0208 or chelsthoreson25@outlook.com. Blazier can be reached at 906-282-3735 or blaziermelinda@gmail.com. Both also are available at Stephens’ office at 1320 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain.
