CoVantage Cares offers $175K in donation matching funds during two-week campaign
ANTIGO, Wis. — The CoVantage Cares Foundation has kicked off its annual two-week fundraising campaign, which extends from Giving Tuesday earlier this week through Dec. 17.
Every dollar donated will be matched up to $175,000 by the CoVantage Cares Foundation, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution, according to a news release.
This matching gift will support local non-profit organizations that provide essential services, such as food, shelter, education and health care in local communities.
The Iron River CoVantage branch is partnering with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3134, which will use funds raised to upgrade plumbing and install new signage, enhancing their space for the community.
The Crystal Falls CoVantage branch is partnering with Crystal Falls Fire Fighters Association to support the new fire station build.
“CoVantage Credit Union has a long history of giving back to the communities we serve,” CoVantage CEO Charlie Zanayed said. “This year’s fundraising campaign is a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. We encourage everyone to join us in spreading kindness and hope during this season of giving.”
Individuals and businesses can donate to the campaign in a variety of ways:
— In person, by going to any CoVantage branch and letting staff assist you.
— By downloading the CoVantage mobile app.
— Donate from the comfort of home by going to covantagecu.org/givingtuesday and making a secure online donation.
“Every dollar counts! Contributions, big or small, will be doubled by CoVantage Cares Foundation, directly benefiting local charities that are working tirelessly to strengthen our communities,” CoVantage Cares Foundation Director Morgan Teal said.
CoVantage Cares Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since its inception in 2015, the foundation has contributed $3.5 million in grant funds to provide for food, shelter and safety needs of area residents.
