Webinar on hostas Friday in Wausaukee

WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — The Wausaukee Public Library, in partnership with the Northern Lights Master Gardeners Association, invites gardening enthusiasts and curious beginners alike to attend a free webinar titled “Unveiling the Secrets of Hostas” at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wausaukee Public Library, 704 Main St. in Wausaukee.

Presented by National Garden Bureau experts Georgia Clay and Laura Robles, this program will explore the many varieties of hostas–one of the most versatile and shade-loving plants in Wisconsin gardens. Attendees can learn about hosta care, lighting needs, planting techniques and landscape design ideas, with plenty of inspiring photos to spark creativity.

A session for questions will take place after the presentation with local master gardeners available to provide answers.

Whether new to hostas or looking to enhance a garden with bold foliage and easy-care perennials, this event is sure to provide valuable insight.

This event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available behind the library, just north of Sal’s Foods.
