Bits and Bridles 4-H club seeks donations for events, programs
NORWAY — The Bits and Bridles 4-H club is seeking donations to help offset the costs of club events such as the annual horse show, as well as to be able to send 4H youth participants within the club to different programs for learning, such as the 4-H Expo Days at the Michigan State University campus.
The annual horse show will take place on July 26-27, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway.
“We have had many great years of success with our shows, and we are hoping to continue to do that,” according to club leaders.
Donations of any amount will be gratefully accepted. Gold sponsors who donate $200 or more, will have a business name displayed on a banner and announced throughout the show and a local radio advertisement. Silver sponsors who donate $100 or more will have the business name announced throughout the show and a local radio advertisement. Bronze sponsors who donate $50 or more will have their business name announced during the show.
Bits and Bridles is a local 4-H club composed of hardworking families looking to better themselves throughout the community with projects such as horseback riding and showing, raising and selling market animals, volunteering for service hours in many areas throughout the community.
