St. Urho’s Day Celebration on Saturday
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Finnish American Raja Ryhma group, whose members share an interest in preserving their Finnish heritage and culture, will celebrate their mythical hero St. Urho on Saturday in the Antoine Room at Recreation Lanes, North U.S. 2 in Iron Mountain.
The meet-and-greet will begin at noon with a buffet lunch catered by Zollner’s to follow at 1 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend. “You do not have to be Finnish to join in the fun,” a group spokesperson said. “Just enjoy being with Finns.”
