Phyllis (Rahoi) Ewig, a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain, celebrated her 100th birthday March 9 with family and friends at Victorian Pines in Iron Mountain. Attendees included her son, Tyrone of Iron Mountain, and her daughter, Stephanie Nelsen, and husband Roger of Traverse City, Mich. Also attending was grandson Andrew Nelsen, wife Kimberly and great-grandson Zachary of Saline, Mich.; and granddaughter Kristie Trimmer, husband Nathanael and great-granddaughter Ava and great-grandson Ryan, from Lakewood, Calif. Also in attendance at the celebration were several nieces and nephews, their spouses and close friends.
