NARFE elects new officers

The local chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees, or NARFE, recently elected officers. Elected were Kathy Jo Anderson, chairman; Joanne Lindholm, vice chairman; Winnie Fornetti, treasurer; Judy Sielaff, secretary; Lynn LaVigne, chaplain; and Anna Vincent, reporter. From left, in front are Lynn LaVigne, Sheryl Potier, Dorleen Uhazie, Judy Sielaff, Susie Gregg and Tina Freeman; standing are Joanne Lindholm, Pam Richmond, Winnie Fornetti, Monica Fineberg, Kathy Jo Anderson and Joyce Giuliani. The mission of NARFE is to support legislation and regulations beneficial to federal employees and those receiving an annuity. NARFE promotes the general welfare of these individuals by representing their interests before appropriate authorities. The group meets at noon on the fourth Tuesday each month from September through May at Mike’s on Main in Norway, where a lot of useful information is shared. Any federal employee or retiree is eligible to join. Visitors are always welcome.
