Cheryl Richer, organizer of the Breast Ball Golf Outing and a breast cancer survivor, presented the staff of Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson Hematology Oncology a check for $1,815 raised at the annual golf event at Oak Crest Golf Course. “All the prizes for the event were donated allowing more money to be given,” Richer said. “Kevin Londo, Oak Crest director of golf and operations, was great to work with. He and the Oak Crest Golf Course Board of Directors have always been incredibly supportive of this annual event.” Money raised will go toward the purchase of items to help make patients more comfortable at home and during their treatments. This event continues because of Richer’s passion for helping local cancer patients.
