FAITHORN — The Faithorn United Methodist Church will host its annual Christmas Auction and Soup Luncheon on Saturday at the Faithorn Township Hall.

Homemade soup and dessert will be served from noon to 1 p.m., with the auction to run from 1 to 3 p.m.

Dan Samson of Escanaba will serve as the event auctioneer.

The auction will include a large variety of new Christmas gift items, creative gift baskets for all ages, handmade decor, crafts and throws, tools, gift cards, homemade baked goods, jam and jellies, Christmas swags and wreaths and more.

The community is invited to the annual tradition of visiting with friends and family while getting some Christmas shopping done.

Donations of auction items are appreciated.

Proceeds from the auction will be used to continue the mission of the small country church on County Road 577 in Faithorn.
