CPR class at the Crystal Falls library

CRYSTAL FALLS — Tom Bucek of the Crystal Falls Fire Department will lead a First Aid and CPR Training class from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Crystal Falls District Community Library.

Attendees will get certification in first aid, CPR and AED, and will be issued a valid CRR card at the completion of the course for no charge. The class is limited to 16 people. Those interested can call Bucek at 906-367-4580 or email tombucek@hotmail.com.

This event is part of the CoVantage Cares fundraising campaign. The class is free of charge, but donations will be accepted and matched by CoVantage with all donations going to the Crystal Falls Fire Department.

A Christmas Craft Class will take place Tuesday, Dec. 10. The project is a Santa’s Clothesline made out of felt. The class is free. Those interest in taking part can send an email to librarian Evelyn Gathu at egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org or call the library at 906-875-3344.
