The Saintly Stitchers of Norway recently dedicated their time and talents to produce dozens of patriotic fleece blankets for the U.P. Honor Flight organization. The donated blankets will be presented as a gift to the military service veterans who will take the next U.P. Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., on May 20. Saintly Stitchers members, from left, are Margie Day, Wanda Khor, Hilda Vivio, Lauri Gustafson, Nancy Nelson, Sheryl Carabine, Peggy Watt, Dawn Tramontin, Jeanette Zychowski and Nancy Anderson. All veterans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam are encouraged to apply to take the U.P. Honor Flight.
