HARRIS — The Island Resort and Casino will be rocking when two ’80s tribute bands take the stage.
Friday, Feb. 7, will feature Paradise City: A Tribute to Guns N’ Roses.
Paradise City is the most authentic tribute to Guns N’ Roses currently touring the entire United States. The band ushers audiences through the glory days of the “Appetite for Destruction” era through the “Use Your Illusion” era. Experience a tribute to one of the world renowned, bigger than life, rock ‘n’ roll bands in music history.
Paradise City recreates the powerhouse sights, sounds and attitude of a Guns N’ Roses concert. The band members have extensive and versatile musical backgrounds in regional and national bands and they cover their respective roles with the utmost attention to detail in looks, equipment and chops. Even the most raved fan will find the show unbelievably true to life.
Saturday, Feb. 8, has Wreking Crue: The Motley Crue Experience.
Wreking Crue: The Motley Crue Experience is a nationally touring tribute band with stage shows that recreate the exciting, energetic party atmosphere of an ’80s Crue concert, down to the finest detail. The band members are fully committed and determined to bring the soul and spirit of Crue s legendary percussive force of nature to life each and every night.
“I love the big high energy sound of the band,” guitarist Tim Ericksen said. “A lot of nasty, a little sexy with a strong sense of melody and like a lot of ’80s metal bands, it’s all about the fans and the fun.”
Tickets for each show are $20 per person and available at the ticket office, or by phone at 877-ISL-SHOW or online at islandresortandcasino.com.
