The band Sweet Heet of northern Illinois will perform a variety of classic rock ’n’ roll music from 2 to 6 p.m. for an outdoor concert on the 3-acre lawn. Everyone is asked to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert. Admission is free; a free-will donation will be taken for the band. Smokler’s BBQ will be on-site, as well as beverage and ice cream vendors. Homeowner Lyn Verthein will offer tours of the underground home all day.
