IRON MOUNTAIN - The 2014 Iron Mountain Farmer's & Artisan's Market will be held every Saturday through mid October, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The market is located across from the Dickinson County Library. The market is managed and operated by the Farmer's Market Executive Committee under the auspices of Iron Mountain DDA/Main Street.
On July 19, Main Street volunteers will be selling strawberries from Pellegrini's as a fund-raiser. If you come to buy strawberries the market has many items you can purchase to go along with them. Produce vendors have a wide variety of fresh greens, radishes, beets and other early vegetables as well as rhubarb for that strawberry rhubarb pie. Vendors have baked goods, eggs and meat. Artists and crafters have a variety of high quality products available for sale.
Volunteers will be selling strawberries Saturday at the Iron Mountain Summer Farmer’s & Artisan’s Market.
Prospective vendors will be required to submit a completed application for the Market Committee to review before being allowed to participate. The market is also open to performance artists or community service organizations wishing to utilize the stage area.
Interested farmer or artist vendors, performers, or service organizations wanting to participate in the market or citizens seeking additional information, please contact the Iron Mountain Farmer's and Artisan's Market at 774-4002 or e-mail email@example.com.
