Post 340 ceremony

Hermansville and Faithorn honored the war dead with Memorial Day services at the Riverside and Meyer Township cemeteries. The Floriano-Stecker American Legion Post 340 of Hermansville conducted and paid homage to the fallen comrades and their final resting place. Commander James Wash of the Post was in charge of the event. Pictured in the top photo, from left, are Ernest Dani, Walter Bellmore, Jane Peters, Bruce Andrews, Frank Rodman, Commander James Wash and Ken Treiber. In the middle left photo, Walter Bellmore, Post 340, raised the flag to full mast. In the middle right photo, Bruce Andrews of Post 340 presents the roll call of deceased veterans. In the bottom left photo, Commander James Wash is shown with Amanda Whitens, who read a poem honoring her grandfather, Alex Framarin, who passed away recently. In the bottom right photo Jane Peters is shown speaking at the Memorial Day service at the Meyer Township Cemetery. She gave a talk at both cemeteries.
