NORWAY - The monthly free community meal at Grace United Methodist Church will be served on Sunday , May 18, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu will be sloppy joes, potato salad, dessert and beverages.
The church is located behind the Jake Menghini Museum and is known as Crossroads, a church facility that is shared by Grace United Methodist and Bethany Lutheran churches.
There is no cost for dinner, but a donation basket is available for those who want to make a contribution toward the meal.
The free meals will be delivered in the Norway-Vulcan area to those unable to attend in person. Please call the church office at 563-8917 before 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, for take-out or deliveries.
Please leave a message if you get the answering machine, but be sure to call before the Thursday deadline, since a message you leave after that time may not be received. You do not need to call ahead if you plan to come to the church to eat.
The meals program was started last year as a community outreach ministry. It is funded through donations and an Emerging Ministries Grant from the United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome.
