Glodowski’s 17 leads in 61-37 blowout

KINGSFORD - Kingsford, tuning up for district play, downed Stephenson 61-37 in boys basketball Tuesday.

Jack Glodowski led the Flivvers with 17 points, and Lucas Jennings added another 11. They, along with Cole Tengesdahl, were honored on the Flivvers' senior night.

"It was nice to have senior night going and being able to score an actually play well," Flivvers coach Dan Olkkonen said. "Our seniors did a nice job tonight."

Nine of 12 Flivvers scored in the game that Kingsford led 31-9 at half.

"We got a lot of rotations, everybody got a lot of time," Olkkonen said.

Kingsford also claimed victory in the jayvee contest.

The Flivvers (5-11) wrap up regular season play Thursday at North Dickinson.
