CHANNING - The Sagola Township Sportsmen's Club's 40th annual Tip-Up Town of the U.P. will be held Saturday, Feb. 1 in the Sawyer Lake area.
Sawyer Lake is located on M-95 four miles north of Channing and 30 miles north of Iron Mountain.
A day full of ice fishing, snowmobile drag races, entertainment, and food is planned.

Registration for the ice fishing contest starts at 7 a.m. on Sawyer Lake. The contest runs until 4:30 p.m.
Cash prizes in adult and kid classes will be given out after the contest at the club house.
Snowmobile drag races sponsored by M.A.S.T.E.R.S. will begin at 8 a.m. on Edey Lake.
Please pre-register online at www.mastersracing.net or on Friday, Jan. 31 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the club house. There will be no registration on the day of the race.
A cash purse payout and trophies will be awarded after the race at the club house.
