To earns designation of AP Scholar with Honor

KINGSFORD - Robyn To, a recent graduate of Kingsford High School, has been designated an AP Scholar with Honor.

The distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Robyn took advantage of the courses offered at KHS in order to better prepare herself for college. She took the AP Exams in AP Computer Science, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP English.

She is currently attending the University of Southern California where she is enrolled in the Viterbi School of Engineering Computer Science (Games) program.

The goal of the Computer Science (Games) program is to graduate students with a solid grounding in computer science and a cross-disciplinary background in games development.

To is also continuing her involvement with marching band and she is a member of The Spirit of Troy Trojan Marching Band.

"I am very proud to represent Kingsford and the U.P. in the classrooms and on the field in Southern California," she said.

Robyn is the daughter of Joanne and John To of Kingsford.
