CALUMET - One of the two suspects in two recent armed robberies, one in Watton and one in Long Lake, Wis., has been arrested.

Troopers from the Calumet post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) reported that, acting on a tip from a retired MSP commander, they executed a search warrant at a residence in Stephenson on Monday.

They discovered one of the suspects and evidence of both robberies. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is currently being lodged in the Baraga County Jail awaiting arraignment.

Troopers said that the second suspect, identified as 27-year-old Bernard A. Fish, is still at large and believed to be in Wisconsin.

Fish is a Native American male with short black hair. He is five feet, 11 inches tall, and 185 pounds.

The Cadillac Escalade that the suspects were driving was located, and authorities do not know what vehicle Fish may be in at this time.

Anyone with information about Fish's whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.

Assisting in the investigation were the Florence County Sheriff's Department and the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET).
