IRON MOUNTAIN - A Norway man has been sentenced to a minimum of 24 months and a maximum of three years for showing pornography and exposing himself to a seven-year-old child.

Attorney Mike Scholke of Iron Mountain said his client, Nicholas Lee-Alan Noyce, 32, is prepared to accept a three-year prison term and hopes to be better person afterward.

Scholke added that Noyce is a native of Flint and does not have plans to return to the U.P. once he is released from prison.

Dickinson County Prosecuting Attorney Lisa Richards said the charges of accosting children for immoral purposes and distributing sexually explicit, visual or verbal matter to children are Noyce's seventh and eighth felony convictions.
