IRON MOUNTAIN - The Daily News' popular lottery contest is back for the spring.

From April 1 through June 29, The Daily News will be giving away 25 Michigan Lottery instant tickets each day, excluding Sundays.

"This is a promotion that we've been doing in conjunction with the Michigan Lottery for a number of years, and people look forward to it," said Daily News Circulation Director Jennifer Flynn. "It's easy to play and a lot of fun to win."

Over the years, The Daily News has given away more than 24,000 instant lottery tickets through this contest.

Readers can enter the contest by displaying the bright orange signs, included in today's newspaper, that read "I'm a Winner with The Daily News and the Michigan Lottery."

Signs can be displayed in either homes or vehicles. Extra signs are available at The Daily News' offices at 215 E. Ludington St. in Iron Mountain.

Daily News spotters will record the addresses and license plate numbers that display the signs.

Readers with addresses or license plate numbers listed are eligible to win five Michigan Lottery instant tickets.

Winners must come into The Daily News' offices to claim their tickets. Proper identification is required.

All prizes must be claimed by July 31.

No purchase is required. Readers must be 18 years old or older to participate.
