IRON MOUNTAIN - For the 10th year, the annual Spring Antique, Craft and Gift Sale will be sponsored by Friends of the Museum on Saturday, March 23 at the American Legion hall in Iron Mountain.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and is open to the general public.
Special antiques and gifts will include a nice selection of glass ware, antique view-finder with reels, pin cushion, fan, crocks, treadle type sewing machine, vintage radio, decorative forks and spoons, plates, Avon collectibles, Iron Mountain-Kingsford Collector's Edition of Monopoly, Rada Knives, World War II Glider/Military Museum license plates and more, all priced to sell.
Area crafters will be offering quality wares for sale at affordable prices such as various styles of jewelry including necklace and earring sets, Easter bunnies, beaded bonsai trees, tin men, hand-loomed rugs, metal bookmarkers, syrup, honey and jams, Joan's Deluxe Granola, sweaters, sweater-keeper clips, sun catchers, shawls, scarves, pillows and blankets, baby blankets, pot holders with Insul-Bright protective lining, mini-quilts, wood craft, wedding accessories, hair ribbons, wands, birch bark vessels, knick-knacks, towels, wood craft, bird houses, sign art, poppy-pod earrings, wire-beaded dragon flies, wooden rabbits, birch bark trees and more, plus a wide selection of hand-made fishing poles and lures of special interest to the men.
Admission is $1, which entitles each person to a chance at a free drawing of $50.
