The pies were judged on appearance, crust, sauce and overall taste.

Budge, of Pizza Hut, was impressed with the overall creativeness of the different pizzas.

"They did a really good job creating their own pizzas," he said.

The first place winner of this year's pizza challenge was Savahnna Pollock, who created a stuffed crust cheese pizza using a homemade mushroom sauce.

"The dough was homemade, I used mozzarella and a three cheese shredded blend, added mushroom and garlic to my sauce and sweetened it with brown sugar. I made it with love," said Pollock.

The second place pizza was a stuffed crust cheese pizza with ham and onions, third place was a Chicago style double stuffed pizza and fourth place was a Mexican pizza.
