First of all, I salute Dr. John Fornetti and all the professionals and other volunteers who are willing to devote their time and expertise to helping people, free of charge.
That being said, I must question the time of year that this wonderful event is held. Your editorial stated that last year people started lining up at 1 p.m. the day before the event. Friday the high is supposed to be about 4 degrees with killer wind chills going down to 20 below or colder.
I beg the organizers of Dentistry From the Heart to consider the grave consequences of frostbite and to think about perhaps having the event at a more temperate time of year if possible.
