Lenita Erickson proud producer of TV reality show

Multi-talented Lenita Erickson, involved with pro wrestling and running a Las Vegas night club among her activities over the years, now finds herself in television.

The Breitung Township native is co-executive producer of "The Sisterhood" (TLC, 8 p.m. Tuesday), a reality series about preacher's wives and their lives in Atlanta.

"Our ratings have been very good," reports the daughter of Maija and ski jumping great Willie Erickson. "You're not hearing profanity-laden tirades (on the Sisterhood). I'm proud to be the producer."

Lenita expects to hear something soon on another project. Three networks are vying for "Hill Country Girls," a Texas-based reality series with gifted professional cowgirls who stand out in other endeavors.

"They all look like Carrie Underwood," said creator and executive producer Lenita, referring to the lovely country music singer. "It's like the Kardashians with substance. I'm very excited."

Lenita will also be busy with her singing career, going on a Canadian tour in March. She's excited about performing a Bret Michaels single "The Other Side of Me."
