IRON MOUNTAIN - Irma Schultz, 89, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 21, 1923, in Vienna, Austria, daughter of the late Karl and Maria (Henneth) Treiber. Irma moved to Iron Mountain in 1946 and married Joseph Schultz that same year. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1989.
She was employed by Attorney Paul Rahm and then Attorney John Englund as a legal secretary, retiring in 1985. Irma enjoyed trips to the casino and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Patsy) Schultz of Kingsford; three grandchildren, Brian (Jodi) Schultz of Menominee, Justin (Anne) Schultz of Neenah, Wis., and Alissa Schahczinski of Iron Mountain; and seven great-grandchildren, Anthony, Brady, Ethan, Nathan, Joseph, Jacob and Natalie.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Irma's memory.
