The Kingsford City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council room, located upstairs of the city hall building, 305 S. Carpenter Ave. in Kingsford
The Iron Mountain City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of the city hall building, 501 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.
The agenda includes a special presentation on the 2012 audit.
Under new business, the council will establish a public hearing to vacate a portion of Pine Street and Pewabic Street and discuss the proposed sign ordinance.
The Norway City Council will meet today at 7 p.m. in the council meeting room at the City Hall building, 915 Main St. in Norway.
Agenda items include a resolution for the Sturgeon Falls Hydroelectric Facility FERC mandated safety plan, MPower GIS update proposal for the electric department and approval of the Magnum Land & Development land transaction.
An executive session is also planned to discuss union collective bargaining negotiation strategy.
The Florence School District Board of Education will meet today at 5 p.m. for a special meeting in Room 215 of the high school.
Agenda items include football field lighting, employee wellness grant application, employee handbook and a closed session to discuss a specific student matter, personnel and staffing/contracts/compensation.
