KINGSFORD - George J. Coggs, 56, of Kingsford, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1956, in Chicago, son of Roberta Coggs and the late John Coggs.
George resided in Las Vegas, before moving to Niagara where he resided from December 2009, to February 2012, at which time he moved to Kingsford.

George worked as a security guard at PSI for the past two years.
He is survived by his mother, Roberta Coggs; one son, Christopher Coggs of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one daughter, Stefanie (Adam) Seckinger of Niagara; one brother, John (Addie) Coggs of Las Vegas; one sister, JoAnn Coggs of Chicago; and four grandchildren, Zoe, Jasmine, Lennon, and Haven.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
