MILWAUKEE - Dora Lavorini, former resident of Iron Mountain and Hubbell, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Milwaukee Catholic Home in Milwaukee.
Dora (Salsini) Lavorini was born in Hubbell, on Aug. 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Salsini. She graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School and worked at the Pearce Furniture Store in Lake Linden for many years.
She married Steve Lavorini in 1964 and they lived in Florida and Illinois before moving to Iron Mountain. Steve died in 2000.
She is survived by her brother, Paul (Barbara) Salsini of Milwaukee; step-daughter, Donna Doberstein of Wilmette, Ill., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Liikala and Arlene Latva, and brothers, Robert and Louis.
There will be a memorial Mass at 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 500 Blaine St., Iron Mountain.
Inurnment will be private at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.
Northshore Funeral Services of Shorewood, Wis. was in charge of arrangements.
