IRON MOUNTAIN - Stephen Roe of Iron Mountain was the winner of a 99-second shopping spree offered by The Daily News and Tadych's Econo Foods on Saturday.

Roe was able to grab $435.73 worth of meat products such as chicken, ham, steak, bacon, sausage, tenderloin, and porketta, and cheese in the short time period.

There was a $1,000 limit. Only two of any like-item could be included, and non-food items, alcohol, and meat family packs were excluded.

"I've been up since 3 a.m. in the morning thinking about this," said Roe Saturday. "I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone - the staff of Econo Foods and The Daily News - to be able to come out here and do this shopping spree. I plan on sharing a lot of this with my family."

"It's a dream of a lifetime," added Roe's wife Lydia.

Readers of The Daily News had the opportunity to clip entry forms and place them in the drawing for the shopping spree.
