PEMBINE, Wis. - Joseph "Joe" Davido Jr., 78, of Pembine, Wis. passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Florence.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1934, in Dunbar, son of Joseph and Mary (Renikow) Davido Sr.
Joe graduated from Pembine High School in 1952.

He moved to Milwaukee before entering into the United States Air Force. He served four years. Joe was united in marriage to Mary Jane Johnson on June 16, 1956, in Pembine at Grace Lutheran Church.
Joe and Mary Jane lived in the Milwaukee area until 1970 when they decided to move to Pembine. Joe worked at the former ISP Granite Mine for many years before retiring in 1997.
He was also part owner of the Ski Doo Shop in Pembine. Joe enjoyed mechanic work, building trailers, and hunting and fishing. He had great work ethic and provided for his family all his life and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Jane; five children: Cindy Smolens, Kathy (Bob) Branton, JoAnn (Ted) Testolin, Joseph Davido III, and David (significant other, Rebecca) Davido; nine grandchildren: Adam (Heather) Zappetta, Cody and Aimee Smolens, Jackie Lee, Kori and Rachel Branton, Lindsey and Devin Testolin, and Isaac Davido; four great-grandchildren: Azariah, Nehemiah, Zephaniah, and Hezekiah; two sisters, Helen Davido and Sophie (Dan) Sereika; and further survived by numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a brother.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in Pembine Cemetery.
