EDITOR:
I was raised in a thoroughly Democratic family.
When I was in grade School, I heard the term "Yellow-Dog Democrat." I asked my dad what it meant, he replied that a "Yellow-Dog Democrat" was a person who would rather vote for a "yellow-dog" before ever voting for a Republican.
I notice that we now have a "Blue Democrat." That is a conservative Democrat.
