IRON MOUNTAIN - Ina M. Poland, 76, of Iron Mountain, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Oct. 28, 1936, in Neptune, N.J., the daughter of the late David and Geneva (Neuens) Poland.
Ina was a longtime resident of Iron Mountain and the owner and operator of Ina's Beauty Salon. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the American Business Women's Association. Ina enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed socializing with her longtime friends and her Yah-Yah Club sisters.
She is survived by three children, Bob Laurila of Toledo, Ohio, Tina (John) Laurila-Papelian of Denver, and Cynthia (David) Wicklund of Iron Mountain; eight grandchildren, Robb Laurila, Braden and Brionne Wiles, Carlye and Kyle Wicklund, Michael and Matthew Laurila, and Nicholas Laurila; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, William E. (Kelly) Laurila Jr. on June 1, 2003.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Thomas Mackey will officiate.
Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
