Pamela Kujala

QUINNESEC - Pamela M. Kujala, 74, of Quinnesec, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain.

She was born on Feb. 15, 1938, in Ash Surry, England, the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Green.

Pam married Conrad Kujala on March 21, 1959, in Peterborough, England. The couple celebrated 53 years of marriage this year.

Pam was a loving person, always caring for her family. She welcomed everyone who came to her home as if they were family. She was "Grandma Pam" to all. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, and ceramics. She enjoyed cooking for all the large family gatherings. All who knew her will remember her caring ways.

She is survived by her husband Conrad; three daughters Barbara (special friend James Creekmore) Stafford of Jacksonville, Fla., Karen (Steve) Chartier of Kingsford, and Susie (Dan) Tracy of Breitung Township; six grandchildren, Michelle (Jay Duhon) Chartier, Kevin (Tara Kinsella) Chartier, Katie (Colin Morton) Chartier, Robert Tracy, Jonathon Tracy, and Joseph (Delisa Ryan) Tracy; and five great-grandchildren, Alexis Duhon, Layla Tracy, Marcus Morton, Gracie Chartier, and Baby Morton, due in February.

Pam was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Kujala on July 26, 2009; and brother, Thomas Green.

Graveside services for friends and family will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Quinnesec Cemetery. Rev. Kate Schruba will officiate.
