IRON MOUNTAIN - A Green Bay, Wis. man is facing seven felony charges involving sexual contact with a child.
Russell Reynolds, 55, was arrested by the Door County Sheriff's Department on Sept. 6 for multiple sex offenses committed against two female juveniles.
According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Web Access, Reynolds is charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and sexual contact with a person under the age of 13, three counts of child enticement involving alleged exposure, and one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 16.
The charges stem from incidents reported to have occurred in the town of Sturgeon Bay on Aug. 31, in late May 2008 and July 4, 2008, all apparently involving the same child.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Oct. 30 at 9:30 a.m. in Door County Circuit Court.
Chris Neuville, juvenile investigator/D.A.R.E. Instructor for the Door County Sheriff's Office, said that during the investigation it was learned that Reynolds worked at a Dickinson County area business in which there is contact with youth and the public.
"Because of this, it is possible there could be unidentified victims in your area," Neuville said.
Reynolds is being represented by defense attorney Brian Maloney.
Overseeing the case is Judge Peter Diltz.
