CRYSTAL FALLS - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Hematite Township.
The accident occurred at about 1 p.m. on U.S. 141 near Trapper's Lane.
Firefighters from the Crystal Falls Fire Department said that they had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of one of the vehicles. The driver and a passenger sustained injuries, they added.
