NEGAUNEE - The body of a Grand Marais woman was discovered in Lake Superior on Wednesday after an apparent drowning.
Troopers from the Negaunee post of the Michigan State Police reported that the body of 89-year-old Rose Mary Marshall was found near the pier in Grand Marais.
No foul play is suspected, troopers added.
Assisting at the scene were the Alger County Sheriff's Department, Pictured Rocks Park Service, and Burt Township EMS.
