PESHTIGO, Wis. - The name of the man who died from injuries sustained in a one vehicle crash on Tuesday has been identified as
Timothy Roberts, 46, of Seward Heights Road in the town of Peshtigo.
Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve reports that at 4:23 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies and Peshtigo Police responded to Rehms Road in the town of Peshtigo where a one vehicle crash was discovered.
The vehicle had been northbound, crossed the centerline and then impacted a power pole off the west side of the road way.
Town of Peshtigo Fire Department, Emergency Rescue Squad and Bay Area Medical Center paramedics extracted Roberts from the wreckage. He was transported to Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff's Office and Marinette County Coroner George Smith.
Assisting at the scene were Peshtigo Police, Emergency Rescue Squad, Bay Area Medical Center paramedics, Peshtigo Fire Department, and Marinette County Coroner George Smith.
This is Marinette's sixth traffic fatality this year.
