EAST KINGSFORD - Kingsford erupted for five runs in the fourth inning and rallied past Iron County 7-4 in a Little League Major (age 12-under) baseball area tournament game Monday at the East Kingsford Sports Complex.
Kingsford and Iron Mountain North will clash at 5 tonight, with the winner joining Norway in the district tournament Friday at the East Kingsford Sports Complex.
Iron County's only two hits Monday came in a three-run first inning to open the elimination bracket game. Kevin Ballinger's double and Steven Nelson's single both drove in runs.

Iron County held a 4-1 lead when Kingsford plated one run in the third inning and five in the fourth.
Kingsford launched back-to-back homers in the fourth inning, with Sawyer Perpich delivering a two-run shot and Jacob Henes connecting for a solo blast.
Iron County pitchers Connor Bortolini and Bryant Schram permitted 12 hits including two apiece from Perpich, Aden Johnston and Darren Wood. Perpich also legged out a double.
Chase Kreski, the third Kingsford pitcher behind Henes and Wood, threw no-hit ball for the final four innings.
