New Kingsford High School volleyball coach Mandie Meyer will get to take on Iron Mountain again.

The former Northern Michigan University star spent one season coaching at Negaunee. Any old scores to settle with Coach Jeanne Newberry and the Mountaineers?

"No, she's great and a really nice lady," Mandie said with a laugh. "I like her a lot."

In college, Mandie played against Lake Superior State and Jeanne's hard-hitting daughter, Brittany.

Kingsford Volleyball Camp, directed by Meyer, runs Monday through Friday. Camp times are 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., ninth through 12th grade, and 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., fourth through eighth grade ...
