QUINNESEC - Sandra Rae Bornfleth, 67, of Quinnesec, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Dickinson County Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Iron Mountain, daughter of Josephine (Omillian) Dadam and the late Frank Dadam. Sandy was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1962.
She married James Bornfleth on May 1, 1965, in Iron Mountain. Sandy worked for Michigan Bell and AT&T for 30 years, retiring in 1993. She loved spending time with family and her two beautiful grandchildren, Ashley and Rebecca. Sandy enjoyed crafts, baking, and trips to the casino. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, James; one daughter, Chris (Dan) Beauchamp of Niagara, Wis.; two grandchildren, Ashley and Rebecca Beauchamp; her mother, Josephine Dadam of Iron Mountain; two sisters, Jean (John) Holley of Crivitz, Wis. and JoAnne (Robert) Friberg of Florence, Wis.; one brother, Frank (Kelly) Dadam of Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom (Cathy) Bornfleth of Green Bay and Barb (Tom) Gauthier of Iron Mountain and many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Bornfleth.
Private family services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
Rev. Douglas Johnson will officiate.
Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery .
