KHS class of '50 lunch on?July 5
KINGSFORD - The Kingsford High School class of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Thursday, July 5, at Holiday Kitchen in Iron Mountain. All classmates and guests are invited.
Post 340 float in parade
HERMANSVILLE - The Floriano-Stecker American Legion Post 340 of Hermansville and Thomas St. Onge Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter will have a float in the Fourth of July parade in both Powers and Hermansville.
Any veteran who would like to be in the parade, but cannot walk the distance due to injury or age is welcome to ride on their float. Call Don at (906) 396-4440 or Jim Wash at (906) 438-2236 so they can make arrangements for a seat.
KHS class of '77 reunion July 17
KINGSFORD - The Kingsford High School class of 1977 will hold a reunion July 14 at Bob and Jerry's Bar in Kingsford at 7 p.m.
All classmates and guests are invited to attend.
Bridge game planned Thursday
IRON MOUNTAIN - The next pair party bridge game will be held on Thursday, July 5 at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. Call 774-7081 if you would like to play.
The next game will be Aug. 2. May winners were Dee DalSanto/Marge Lemanski and June winners were Corrine Gaspari/JoAnn Poirier.
Library closed on July 4
IRON MOUNTAIN - The Dickinson County Library and its branches will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. Normal summer hours will resume on Thursday, July 5.
Classy Lassies gather Thursday
NIAGARA, Wis. - The Classy Lassies will meet on Thursday, July 5, at 11:30 a.m. at Bomber's Golf Course in Niagara.
After lunch they will tour the Jake Menghini Museum in Norway.
